New Jerusalem Christian Church

As a family of believers at New Jerusalem Christian Church, we dedicate time to helping others build a lasting relationship with the Lord. There is nothing more fulfilling in life than learning about Jesus and engaging in an incredible journey with the Lord. Our church body believes in finding common ground, engaging each other in prayer and  bible study. We are purposed to build a stronger bond with our Father in Heaven, as well as enrich our soul and spirit.

What We believe

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, that these are equal in every divine perfection, and that they execute distinct but harmonious offices in the work of creation, providence and redemption. We believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of all people, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ. We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings. We believe in His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth. We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ, and that He is an abiding helper, teacher and guide. We believe that Christians should live for the glory of God and the well-being of others; that their conduct should be blameless before the world; that they should be faithful stewards of their possessions; and that they should seek to realize for themselves and others the full stature of maturity in Christ. We believe the bible is the infallible Word of God. We believe all scripture was inspired by God. We believe in the Doctrine of the Holy Trinity. We believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Power of God unto Salvation. We believe in the birth, life, death, resurrection, and the second coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The Vision

Our vision at New Jerusalem Christian Church is to be a Bible-Based church where souls are saved and where there's evidence of changed lives submitted to Christ for service in the kingdom of God.

(Proverbs 29:18)  18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: (2 Corinthians 5:7) 7 For we walk by faith, not by sight.

We are called to make a difference. God was not satisfied with man so He sent Jesus. He loved us that much and would not allow us to perish. Those who accept Christ as Lord and Savior, are the light among people in darkness. We the believers should be diligent to make a difference in our communities and the world by promoting the Gospel of Christ Jesus.

our mission

Our mission at New Jerusalem Christian Church is to bring forth God's message of salvation and minister to the needs of the people.

Scripture: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."  (Matthew 28:19-20) We understand that faith without works is dead, therefore we place urgency on bringing salvation to God's people. Salvation saturates our lives through repentance (turning away from our sin and toward God), and faith in Jesus. This salvation is God's free gift to anyone who chooses to trust Him through Jesus (Romans 10:9-10). Have you made a decision to trust Him though Jesus? Then help us accomplish our mission! Scripture: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."  (Acts 1:8).
